Roaring Run Falls Original Gouache Painting. This painting is inspired by Roaring Run Falls, one of my favorite short hikes near where I grew up in Virginia. The trail follows a rushing mountain stream that cascades into a series of pools and waterfalls. The cold limestone spring fed waters support brook trout, Virginia’s only native salmonid.
Gouache on archival quality, acid free watercolor paper, 300gsm. Painting is 6x6” unframed, 8x8” framed.
